We have the equipment to get the job done right!

We only use larger, more powerful floor sanders. These large machines do a much better sanding job! Operating on 220 volt outlet (stove or dryer), these machines have a powerful industrial vacuum system built in to collect 99% of sanding dust.

How we make it a perfect job!

We use the tried and true methods;

  1. First we sand to remove all scratches and any finish;
  2. We fill all cracks in your floor with a wood filler;
  3. Once the floor is dry, we sand your floors using a 60 grit sand paper;
  4. We once again sand your floors with a 100 grit sand paper for a natural finish (Stained floors require an additional sanding using a 150 grit sand paper).

Superior finishes

We use only the best oil based finish for a superior look, long lasting beauty and durability from Fabulon. While we do recommend oil based finish for your floors, we do recognize people’s concerns and do offer a premium aluminum oxide water based finish.

We use the proper lamb’s wool mop applicator to apply a thick smooth oil finish, to last a lifetime. Unlike the roller applied method, where the finish has worn off in high traffic areas within 2 or 3 years, we leave the rollers to painters.

Wood floors require three coats of finish for a superior look and durability. We apply three coat of finish on every floor refinished. The first coat is quickly absorbed into the wood and usually dries within one hour; this forms a barrier sealing the floor. This prevents the second coat of finish from being absorbed into the wood letting it dry overnight. We lightly screen this coat using a floor polisher with a 120 grit screen, making this coat very smooth and suitable for the next coat to adhere properly, decreasing the likelihood of peeling and increasing the shine of your floors.
